golfdads

golfdads are a funk-driven rock group currently based in Los Angeles but formed at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo. The members of the group have shifted, but the current lineup includes 2254 Records co-founder Brian Mendez on saxophone, multi-instrumentalist Drake Freeman on lead guitar and bassist Casey Sublette, all of whom share songwriting responsibilities. They quickly rose to the top of the local scene, playing main stage at festivals like Shabang!, and their live performances have been described as “electric” and “energy-driven” Audience participation is highly suggested!
